Boss

Boss doesn't really have much of a discography, but her debut album was one that showed a lot of promise. For reasons beyond me, she fell off the mainstream map after this album dropped despite releasing successful singles like "Recipe of A Hoe" and "Deeper" -- both of which hit #1 on the Billboard charts. According to Wikipedia, Boss is currently working on her third LP, entitled American Street-Heart. I'm not sure what to expect, but let's hope It's as good as her debut. It's definitely worth a a few spins.
