Some of you may remember Psyche Origami's tracks getting played on Adult Swim back when their debut dropped (if anyone has that, linkage would be much appreciated). As far as I know, that's what their most famous for. When I was writing for Modern Fix, they sent this to me for review. Had it not been for that, I probably wouldn't know who they were either. Basically, they're a trio from Georgia. It's definitely not your stereotypical type of southern rap though. No grills or bling to be found here. As a matter of fact, it's quite the opposite. DJs Dainja and Synthesis are excellent on the wheels and that will win this listener over almost every time. Mr. Wyzard (aka MC Wyzsztyck) supplies the rhymes. I like him, but he doesn't jump out at me. He's definitely skilled though. Overall, I'd say that it's a worthwhile listen. This is some not-so-southern hip hop straight out of Georgia.
